get a bigger hammer and don't be afraid to really lay into it(don't miss though). You might also want to try some pb spray. If you still can't get it find someone with an air hammer and appropriate sized punch bit. I have in my time probably removed over 50 linkage pins and the hammer and spray has worked every time.
