Area 51 never even had a working FI kit. They had a car that looked like it was S/C'd but it never ran. The only reason it didnt get produced is cause they went under before it was done. In any case, whoever youre getting your info from isnt entirely accurate. First off, most owners run 7-8psi on a basic turbo setup. This is enough for at least 250whp, but usually closer to 275 as I said before. I dont know of any other N/A 4-cylinder that puts out much more with a basic turbo setup (though Im not too familiar with many other NA-T cars). IMO the QR responds quite well to forced induction. The complaint most people have is that once you want to go beyond a basic turbo setup and into the 3-400whp range, engine internals must be upgraded. So if you want a car that can get you deeper than high 12s, you have to spend a lot of money. If the Spec V werent the bastard child of the Nissan community, maybe youd have more options.

If you havent already, go into the F/I section on thevboard.com and see how many turbo'd Specs are running around. They can also answer your questions better than I can, as I havent been with the SE-R community for a good 6 months now.
