The car is in Jacksonville Beach, Fl.
I have had a 90 sohc 240 coupe for about a 2 months now and I realize that it is probably more than I really want to spend my time and money on, I will probably never race a car anywhere, and now may get rid of it. The car was originally an Ohio car the odometer is broke but I am guessing around 130-150k on original motor. This was my dad's car and the only thing he really did was get the oil changed regularly. Now the details:
Engine: Runs pretty strong, it has: new plugs (ngk platinum), wires, dist. cap, rotor, z32 fuel filter, valve cover gasket, oil filler cap, aiv removed, air filter. Has a leaking fuel injector, could just be a o-ring but havn't changed them yet. Also has chain rattle on cold start.
Body:
It has the front lip in rough shape. Factory spoiler. Rust-under corner of both doors and drivers rear fender, bad but fixable. drivers front fender was dented when I recieved the car, I just have it popped out, (not terrible). Paint is dull, but not oxidized.
Frame: light rust not too bad
Exhaust: gone from the front of the resonator back
Rims and tires: Aftermarket 15x7 AR rims but are pitted, rear tires only hold air for about 2 weeks. Edit: one of the tires stopped holding air so the car now has 4 steelies with almost new tires on all 4, potenzas and goodyears.
Interior: Working HUD, PW PM CC all work (soldered board on drivers window amp to fix common issue), Non -working ac, stock radio barely works. Seats are pretty wornout passenger and rear are better of course. Carpet is really in good shape.
EDIT: Forgot to mention I also put on new front rotors, and pads front and rear.
I would like to trade for a vehicle of any year with less cosmetic work needed and must run and drive. This could be a great project car as it does run well for the mean time.
