LOL, I have the exact same problem. Sent in my 27, and 2 days later I have the Xmas party memo on my desk. It not at my house, but they are getting it catered and all that stuff.

I comprimised, it starts at 6:30, so I told them I'd be kinda late. I didn't tell them I'd be a sweaty oily mess though.
