Definitely would be up for this.

Passing/wheel to wheel should NOT be allowed unless everyone has a competition SCCA Road Racing license. Allowing wheel to wheel for any Joe off the street is just downright SCARY. I don't think the track would even allow it...atleast I would hope so.

Passing when gettng waved by in regular HPDE format would be just fine.

Depending on course, passing could just be ruled out. I have done a few "track days" at Gainseville Road Course, and running 2-3 cars at a time on the course, properly spaced, there is no reason to have passing period.

Which tracks are you thinking about using? GIR is a great track for a first track day. Then gradually move up to the bigger/faster ones.
