steve and i pulled my hatch front end out and i drive it. it was all cosmetic, no way in hell was i letting her insurance company total out my car.
don't be fooled, the insurance companies know the part values of our cars, they'll total it, take it to their yard and make their money back plus some parting it out.
anyone notice advance auto parts now advertising they can get you salvaged parts ... exactly.

i admit some aren't attached to their cars like i am to mine, so i hope everything works out in your favor.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
