Ford continues to release limited-edition Focuses at a rate of about two variations per year. The first two vehicles included the 2000 Focus Kona Edition, a 3-Door complete with a Kona mountain bike and special features, and the 2000 Sony Limited Edition Focus, a Sedan SE outfitted with a Sony sound system and special appearance upgrades. Ford produced 5,000 Kona Editions and 7,000 Sony Editions for the 2000 model year. For 2001, Ford marketed the Focus Street Edition, in Sedan and Wagon forms, and then the Focus S2 based on the 3-Door. Both featured sportier suspension tuning, direct from Europe, in addition to the usual cosmetic upgrades. It wasn’t just European-style ride and handling, it was European.
Older Focus' had major problems. Nothign special about that one otehr than it came wit ha bike.
