If you are not going for max power and speed, Subaru. Nicer inside and out, more refined. Stock it is faster than the evo, I'm talking out of the dealer nothing done to them, in a straight line. The quality of Subaru is 2000% better than Mitsubishi. Interior and exterior. The car will last longer than the Mitsu, it will also retain it's value better.

Now If you are going for speed. The Mitsu 4g63 is a beast, responds well to mods and can make more power than the STi with a stock turbo and minor mods, less money. Easier to work engine bay.

I have a WRX right now, with 300whp, I enjoy it a lot, I have not driven an STi or EVO yet, but if I had to chose absolute power, I would chose the EVO. If I only wanted something fast but refined as a daily driver, the STi. To me is all about want you want from it.


I will probably sell the WRX soon, but I think I'm going to try the G35 next, I like the power it has and the looks.
