The color dosen't make a difference. Yes, I saw that black one you mentioned, but it's a STi and that's just too much anyway. I'm currently drivng a Camaro, and am going to a WRX. There's also one at the Subaru dealer, but it's also a STi. I'm only wanting a WRX that runs fine, and by the way, I want a five speed.
That's all I can figure out. As for the logic, if all they have is the higher grade STi's, maybe you could "compromise" for something better. If that's too expensive up front, finance it, you'll save a lot of money on gas, if you care.
I'm done and now want to go get a cheeseburger.
