Mateo, a carbon driveshaft or alum driveshaft would work the same with simuliar results. A carbon will twist alittle if your on slicks thus giving a rubber band affect. But I don't think you'll see a diff in ET. Save your money get a alum one. As far as tires check out www.tirerack.com They have some pretty cheap prices. -Mark
