If you can actually turn a wrench I say get a z31 turbo. They are going pretty damn cheap nowadays, most cases cheaper than n/a z32's.
getting old though, hence the "turn a wrench" comment.
Plus your dad can be like "your Z's da shizzle like mine was" or such.
