Out of all of the gear I have looked at and tried on, Icon makes one of the most protective, and padded jackets out of all of them. My Joe Rocket was practically made of styrofoam and I know that if I got into a wreck with it, it wouldn't do nearly as much for me as a leather one such as this would. You clown on it because of the name and such but don't you think AlpineStars is just as trendy? Hell they sell it at Pac Sun!
They don't price jackets just because of the name. A $400.00 jacket is priced that way because of several things. Arai helmets aren't exactly $600.00 because of the name...they're obviously good helmets!
If I was looking to be trendy/fit in, I'd just ride around in a skirt and high heels or a wifebeater.
And if I'm not mistaken...don't "Squids" not wear gear...and that's why they are labeled such?
