If you look at that dyno chart you realize the powerband of a 1.8t is nothing like a VR6. The power doesn't come on for that car until 5000+ rpms, not exactly a huge powerband, you would run out of gear real quick once you are in the power.

Also on the topic of EIP's stuff, who cares about what they have to offr, there are plenty of other VR tuners out there. Schimmel Performance had a lot to do with Kirchberger's jetta (which was a 12V VR6). You talk like it takes 30,000 to make a VR6 fast and the R32 is the only car with a VR. If you want fast cheap power, get a MK3 VR6 GTI, and get a turbo kit for under $3500 or spend more and blow the doors off of a lot of cars. Nothing sounds better than a VRT.
