just bc its a V8, doesnt make it faster guys. stock 85 GT's made a whopping 185hp! and are considerably heavier than a 240sx. most foxbodies bone stock ran mid to low 15's and so did 240's. i ran a 15.4 bone stock and let marksaccord drive my car and he ran a 15.2 in it destroying my tranny.

one good point is that the 5.0 block can handle over 550hp without ripping out the webbings and SR blocks have sustained well over 1000hp.

there are quite a few 240's in the 10's with most of them running low elevens.... and htose in the elevens usually arent even making over 400hp! but its more expensive to do that in a 240.

i have alwasy loved the foxbody coupe and i used to have an 85 GT with a built 306. i have also owned about 8 240's. both are fun in their own arenas.

but you cant deny the sexiness of both cars.
