them: "i don't have it, i thought i did." (no apologies nor any sort of discount)
me: "when will it be in?"
them: "it will arrive tuesday"
me: "okay, i'll wait i guess"

2 days after tuesday

me: "where is [this part]?"
them: "still not here"
me: "can you tell me an eta? is it enroute? where is it?"

me: "wtf? i am serious man, where is it?"

me: "hey, remember that [so and so part] i got a price from you?"
them: "yeah."
me: "send it"
them: "okay"

3 weeks later

me: "where's the [so and so part]?"
them: "dude, that part is actually $zzzz, not $yyyy"
me: "what the hell? why?"
them: "the price i gave you, i guessed on it, and it was wrong"
me: "so why am i suffering?"
them: "i made an educated guess based on my experience, i took a business risk"
me: "well, if you took the risk, then you should eat that difference, because it was your fault"

3 hours later

me: "forget it, i'll get it from [enter another company]"

i ended up getting it for cheaper, AND faster than through them

i've told them before, if it wasn't for that fact that they are one of the biggest distributor of greddy, hks and the sole distributor of mackin in florida, i won't even be dealing with them. so yes, i can relate to it
