A vehicle coming from Canada has to have a manufacturer's letter of conforment to be legally imported into the USA. Same deal as if from Overseas. Yes...once again, you can title and register it under false pretenses, but you can't do it legally.

Once the car is 25 yrs old...you can import it.
So...you can import a 1989 R32 in the year 2014.
