on most analog odometers you can actuall wedge the numbers apart and roll them to the correct mileage. I would still note exempt or mileage discrepancy on the title, but so that you know the mileage is correct. I have done this when my last speedo was stolen out of my crx, luckily I had mileage records for every fuel fill up so I will atleast be close to the true mileage.
