Here in Florida dealers use the term TMU as well, however, there is nothing on the actual title that says "TMU" it is worded differently, like I posted above.
The only reason I even mentioned anything about newer cars is so that someone that didn't know any better wouldn't read this, then write 'EXEMPT' on their title for their 2003 car and try to register it. For his case, 'EXEMPT' is clearly the best and easiest thing to do.
