How I do it.

1) Start the motor. Look for any leaks.

2) After ten minutes hold the throttle at 2,000RPM for twenty minutes. Turn the car off.

3) Change the oil and oil filter.

4) As Jason suggested. Accel half throttle from 2500 to 6500, let off gas completely as to create heavy vacuum letting the engine decel. Do this 5-10 times.

5) Go have fun.

I even did this on my personal motor. Compression was 185 across the cylinders with one mile. After 1,000 miles compression was 195 across the cylinders. Compression tested the weekend before last COLD and compression was 190 across the cylinders.
