There's really not that much custom work, if you actually knew what went into it.. Stock QR will make 300whp/280ft lbs at 8-9psi on a 50 trim/stage III T3/T04E. That's not too shabby.. especially since the TQ curve is flat as a rock from 3000 to redline. It really isn't a bad motor man... if you would actually look at it, and try messing with it.. you'd probably like it.

That kind of power won't come out of my shop.. we just don't build stuff like that.. we don't have the knowledge, or the means to. But, I DO know that someone big in the import drag scene is building a QR powered drag car, as we speak. And thier goals are close to 4 digit.

I wasn't trying to make this out as a SR versus QR thread... I love both engines. I was hoping that this build would be enough for some credit.. I guess not.
