If you are going to do it, do it right. The buschur bolt on would probably be your best choice unless you can find an old school charged air/spoolin up, but that wont happen.
Yes you can, and I have one already done for a 1g. All you have to do it tap the fuel rail where the FPR is to 3/4-16 and put either a #8 unioin or #8 to #6 union in with an oring on the #8 side that will be screwed into the rail. Or you can cut apart your stock FPR and weld a #8 male bung directly to it and screw the AFPR to it though I would caution against the later methond as you better tack the bung on with it screwed into the AFPR for alignment reasons.
