You either love or hate the 5.0's.
The way I look at it is they are cheap as hell to make fast, have simple yet aggressive lines, and most of all the aftermarket for them is never-ending.

(1)Fox body 5.0's are for burger flipping guys who can't yet afford a modular Mustang.
(2)If I wanted fast without style I could put a 454 in a old Vega for half the cost of a 5.0.
(3)Wood grain dashes and leaky T-Tops just don't turn on the women.
(4)5.0's rank only second to ricers for annoying drivers on the road.
Last but not least:
(5)Owning a 5.0 is like sleeping with Elissa, everyone's been there and done that.

You are right you could do that but it would not piss off the modulars as much as when a 5.0 dusts them yet again.
