Ummmmmmm Whne I bought the 70 Newport, the idiots strap the rear end down over the brake line. It was a permanent line lock Found a Newyorker in CDM's showrrom and got the rear lines fix. With ther new 383, smoke shows atill were not a problem. Yip right out in front of the rented house we where in on Beach street in FL. I Think Walter was there.
