a week or 2 ago stillen in Cali had toyota day and alot of solara and camry owners showed up because stillen is supposed to start making some parts for us.

after that they did some dynoing and then 2 of the guys raced one had a gen3 camry (92-96 like mine) and the other had the same camry except it was in the shop getting the 3s-gte put in still...so he was using his new echo which only has a cold air intake) the echo smoked that camry for real. and the guy with the camry had like intake/exhaust and visual mods...the echo weighs like ~2100lbs and has 95hp to the wheels i think...the camry is like 3300lbs and has 130hp (base gen3).

anyways the new echo has vvt-i and i hear its pretty sweet on those and the new cels. (better than vtec haha)

im thinking its possible to fit the celica engine in there since theyre both i4s...but what size is the echo? isnt it like 1.8L? the celica is 1.8 too i think but not sure. but imagine an echo with a GTS in there pushing 190HP? hehehe
