Default Rules for posting in this forum- MUST READ BEFORE POSTING

  • You are allowed ONE TTT every THREE DAYS. Try to make it something useful that will make the car more attractive to buyers like a price reduction or more information, and if it's multiple items, please try to update what has sold and what is still for sale instead of simply typing "TTT". You can make your first TTT any time after the thread is posted, but you have to wait another seven days to do it again. Any TTT post made before the seven day limit will be deleted, along with other posts that follow it. The thread owner is the only one allowed to TTT their for sale thread.
  • Location must be filled out. The town you live in ( and state if not Florida ) must be in your profile to post adds here. If you dont want people to know where you live thats fine just dont post a add here or it will disappear.
  • No off-topic posts. The only discussion allowed is discussion of the parts for sale and information relevant to the sale. Posts of no worth to the thread will be deleted, so try to keep it clean.
  • Post an asking price for everything you're selling. If you don't know what to list it for, search the FS forums here and other classifieds like those on dsmtuners.com and tampabay.dsm.org to get an idea of a fair price. Pretty much anything you could want to sell has been listed and sold in the past. Even if you just guess at it, an asking price gives interested parties a general idea of what you want for the part and is a starting point for bargaining.
  • Update your original post when you sell something. Use the edit feature to post notices by items that have sold and to update the prices if you make changes to them.
  • No lowballing and no unhelpful criticism of asking prices. No lowballing- that is, making ridiculously low offers on parts. Don't post things like "good luck getting $XXX for that" or other unhelpful criticism of asking prices. If you think an item is priced too high to sell- PM the person and let them know in a friendly, purely informative way.
  • Do not post links to other For Sale threads. Copy and paste the description of the parts into the text of your thread here. Links to auction sites like e-bay are allowed if you post a basic description of what you are selling along with the link.
  • Do not post universal parts unless you are a Mitsu Tech regular. Parts like turbo timers, boost gauges, and other generic parts not specific to Mitsubishi cars belong in Misc Automotive FS/WTB. These threads will be moved to Misc Automotive FS/WTB to minimize clutter in this forum. We will make an exception for Mitsu Tech regulars- which includes those who have contributed to the forum over time and all Mitsubishi car owners.
