We chased that around for hours, including swapping out TGV sensors with another car. Nothing seemed to work. Then, we tried an ECUtek from another car. It worked fine, leaving us to believe that my used ECU was bad. I didn't have my AccessPort with me, so we were done for the night at that point. Scott did not charge me anything for chasing down something that was my fault.
Yesterday, after a full day of tuning, Scott managed to fit me into the schedule. First, I rode along as he fine tuned an STi. At about 9pm, Scott hooked up the equipment to my car and we did some baseline runs. After a break at Hooters to meet up with some other TR people, we got back on the road at about 11pm. Even at that late hour, Scott took the time to make sure that everything looked perfect. We were finally done at about 12:30 this morning, and the car was transformed. My A/F is right on the money, the car is smoother than ever, and it runs like a raped ape! Was this the end of the day for Scott? No - he moved his equipment over to an STi and kept going - knowing that he had another person coming in this morning at 8am for a tune.
All I can tell you is that Scott loves his work. Because of that, he is willing to fine tune over and over until everything is just right. Most of the cars that he tuned this week had problems that he had to chase down and identify, but he doesn't keep the meter running during this time. He only charges for actual tuning time. On top of that, he's a heck of a nice guy. I wpuld recommend his services to anyone.
he did the same with mine. couple issues here and there but worked through them until everything is perfect. cant ask for better
