yea its a paddle shifter... SMG is a track (road course/F1) inspired sequential shift system... thats probably where you thought it was a race tranny... its a manual tranny with clutch (but no pedal) ... but has electro-hydrolic clutch activation through the paddle shifters... the car's stock redline is 8000... the shark injector adds a couple hundred revs so they can shift at a true 8000 before bangin into the limiter...

but yea, the 3rd gear on an M3 is badass.... good kill on the evo..
