My theory.......the dude was bring the bike down off the wheelie,lost his balance and stuck his leg out (something someone with no clue would only do) the pavement caught the front of his foot and just ripped it backwards. I am also guessing when that happend he lost control of the bike and it hit the curb. BTW how are you doing?
