Whats up my name is Matt, one of the new memebers of the StreetHeat crew. I am the owner of the Blue IS300 that was at StreetHeat. Weird to see this posted. My car is currently at Toyomoto Inc. in Miami, Fl. We are doin the V-160 Getrag 6-speed swap....Along with the turbo kit. The kits listed on the Toyomoto website are no longer those prices..Lance also uses different parts than listed. I will leave the specifics to that. If anyone needs info about Toyomoto jus PM me. I can answer alot...As far as just doing a 2JZ-GTE swap..As most may think its just a direct fit...Think again..this is at least a 3-4 month install and a bill of aobut $50,000. The wiring involved to complete this swap is nuts! :o Only one 2JZ-GTE IS300 is runnin around in Maryland right now. If it was easy there would be plenty doing it. We are one of 3 other people alone to even do the 6-speed swap. It takes patience and a damn good tuner. Honestly..the IS300 suks w/o forced induction. It really does!
But the 2JZ can take sooo much power on stock internals....When I get the car back I will be sure to attend my first Tampa racing meet so you guys can see it in person. Hope everyone is having a good holiday.
