You can push a non-common block pretty far. Failures with any of the blocks are pretty rare.
I keep hearing or reading no more than 250hp, and that after that point you are a lot more likely to crack a main, or so it is said. Maybe this is just a falacy

I am really aiming to start with a 2.5 TI or a 2.2 TII, so I guess I wouldn't have to think about that. Lately it seems it is becoming harder to find anything except loggers, and I am considering settling for one of these with a 1 piece intake conversion.
