Hydrolocking question
So last night, I was following my friend in my 96' 2WD 2 door Explorer, and I went through a puddle at the wrong place and it turned out to be 4 feet deep. So I had water over the hood completely, but luckily I had ebough momentum to make it through to the other side. As soon as we got to the other side, the engine completely died. I pulled off the intake tube and found water pouring out of it. I also noticed the throttle body was a little wet inside, too. So I dried it all out, and got the car up and running after a while. It now runs fine and has the same amount of power, but I was wondering if I did any long term damage to the engine, and if so what?
