Standalone is a common choice for people who dont want a stock ecu and dont want to use jwt. The car was fresh off the dyno tune and running very fast. the same night he raced me he raced a ve car w/ sr16 cams/fuji header and hung nicely. The car is as fast as you can make a I/H/E ve.
Alright, well if you don't need to be taught, you OBVIOUSLY
know it very well, why don't you teach it - and tell us how the standalone controls the VVL? He was just saying, he wasn't sure how they rigged it to come in at a certain RPM with a standalone module, because the stock one is so advanced.
