I know everyone has seen this but did you know they are planning a coupe and 3 door hatch of this platform? It seems like the most awesome thing in a long time.

I fully plan to get one as soon as a roof is available. The only cars based on the platform right now are the saturn sky and pontiac solstice. The saturn looks fucking awesome!

I'm excited because it has FR layout, kind of light weight, same wheelbase as ae86, a regular ass 5 speed no gizmos or electronics, mechanical lsd, good suspension, 4 cyl, and it's american. No more waiting months for parts and all that.

To me it seems to have the ingredients of a great bunch of drift cars.
