My car was a group effort from all my friends Ive got around $1000 total...And I have not been to the track with it yet but ive beat plenty of cars that run high 11's low 12's......And Im still on stock busted ass suspension and street tire's...And Nchatch ran 11.7 with around $1500 in his car.......And i'll stop there but I could keep going...Point is this happens all the time.And I just think it will be fun to see what people can do for minimal money,When everyone works together..And its a good way for people to meet each other...Cause to work on a car you have to talk to people.Not like at track events or picnics where only people who know each other talk...
