Make the car run 10s all day all motor then I'll be semi impressed. You guys forget this car is running 11s on a turbo whos inlet is the size of a ping pong ball. It was made for achievements, how many cars run low 11s on stock turbo? ONE, and thats joes. How many mustangs run 10s gutted and sprayed to high heaven? ONE BILLION. Do something creative and be the first and I'll be impressed, otherwise you guys arejust showing us osmething that has been done a million times before. Wait till we put a real turbo on it,then you guys will be whining about how it's turbo or something. Usually how it works.
A few things :
1. Do you ever post in a non-assholish manner ? (Just curious)
2. I somewhat agree on the nitrous part but it is cheap, especially when you are trying to build a car from scrap parts and mostly for
FREE.
3. Making a car run 10's all motor is a expensive undertaking, been there almost done that.
4. Not taking anything from Joe and his accomplishments (because they are amazing) but there are plenty of cars running in the 11's with a small turbo. And lest not forget how lightweight his car is.
5. We are being creative, you somehow missed that. Let me break it down simple for you in BIG LETTERS AND SLOWER, W-E A-R-E B-U-I-L-D-I-N-G A T-R-A-C-K- C-A-R O-U-T O-F S-P-A-R-E P-A-R-T-S F-O-R A-L-M-O-S-T

6. No one cares about impressing you, enough said.
7. The only one whining is you. (also see # 1 ).
If you guys want to put a wager on this just let me know, I am game and I am sure the fellas in the Ford forum would be too. And if we get $5k to put in it I will keep every receipt as proof and we will skip right past the 10's, guaranteed.
