I think you have to give them your "credit" info and then they check for "sufficient funds" (while taking them all too) and then they get back with you whether or not you are "approved".

You will never see that car or the money they were supposebly approving...plus you can tell this person is not from the US the keep stating US money. Even though the location states New York, anyone can put that. And most all the scams like this that have been happening were where the other party was out of the US. He just wants you to win the auction and take all your cash..
