I completely agree w/ you javelin!

Firebirdguy you are right about this generation growing up around all imports. And I wouldn't fault anyone for buying a new car if thats what they want. But to win a show w/ a new car compared to others that are over 35 yrs old, I do have a problem w/ that. You can't compare new to old, and theres no way as much time went into the bolt ons on a new car compared to the restoration of a classic. (I know you weren't arguing the car show point, I was just mentioning it )

I actually had the Chevelle for sale once and was looking at getting a Firebird. Looking back I am sooo glad it didn't sell. I was selling it for all the wrong reasons.
