small update:
Pulled the old lsvtec setup to begin the rebuild and stripped off a couple of random interior pieces. Tried to get my media blaster working but it is clogged up. going to buy another so I can begin stripping the paint and weld seal in order to stitch weld the front end. I don't trust the friction welds on a 16 year old 250k mile car. I'll take pictures of the stitch welding when I get around to it.
