It looks like Lincoln of all brands is coming to kick some ass too ! Can you imagine the looks you would get from a fast import after you busted them with this !
Lincoln has unveiled a new high-performance LS, a sedan tuned up by McLaren Performance Technologies. The special Lincoln sports a modified version of the normal Lincoln LS 3.9-liter V8 engine. They've also added an Eaton supercharger delivered by Magnuson that also incorporates twin intercoolers. The new LS generates 350 horsepower and 350 ft-ft of torque. Lincoln says the performance sedan will accelerate from 0-to-60 in 6.2 seconds and blast through the quarter mile in 14.2 seconds.
The powerplant is mated to a Tremec six-speed manual transmission, which is highly unique for a sedan. Special suspension changes lower the LS one inch at all four corners and StopTech four-piston caliper brakes screech the LS to a stop. To enhance traction, the LS also uses McLaren's Gerodisc limited-slip differential, which is torque and speed sensitive.
The sedan's sporty looks are supplemented by 18" x 8" 0-Z wheels sporting Michelin Pilot Sport tires, a perforated performance grill, xenon headlamps, custom taillights, a titanium trim package, and McLaren Performance logos, special floor mats, and more. The "Powered by McLaren Engines" Lincoln LS's will be available in three trim stages. Stage 1 features engine intake, exhaust, wheel, and tire enhancements for $5,000. Stage 2 also gives you the supercharged and intercooled engine, brakes, and chassis upgrade for $12,000. And finally, stage 3 adds-on the six-speed manual transmission for a whopping extra $6,000.
