Man, I normally jump into these posts because it's always some kid whining about getting caught doing something wrong, but that's just straight up asshole of the cop. I'm sure he could tell by your ID that you were 3 houses away from yours, and by the grease you were obviously working on the bike. I think that guy just had a hard on for ticketing a biker that day.

Don't take it to court though. Lawyer charges and court costs are going to be more than $70, so just pay the ticket.
