A 14b turbo has never made 350 whp. You will be lucky if you can make 300 hp with a 14b. I believe a 14b turbo has never put down more 315(ish) hp.
However, you can create the piping for the evo8 fmic for $100 as well. Therefore, a fmic kit that includes an evo8 fmic, piping, couplers, t-bolt clamps, j-pipe can be fabricated for between $250 and $350 (depending on how much you spend on the fmic and if you purchase a j-pipe (cost?)). I don't know if you know P.J. (from N.P.R.), but he used an evo8 fmic and custom piping on his '91 talon. I don't believe he spent $100 on the piping/couplers/clamps. Talk with him if you so desire.
