Well, all I can tell you is what I would be replacing gasket/o-ring-wise if it were me buying a used shortblock. I do not have the part numbers anymore.
SET (2), exhaust manifold to head gaskets
SET (2), intake manifold to TGV housing gaskets
SET (2), TGV housings to head gaskets
SET (2), main head gaskets
2 o-rings where the water pipe connects to the top of the block
1 o-ring in the oil cooler assembly
1 gasket for the water pump which you will be swapping over
Permatex "Ultra Black" gasket maker
Permatex "Red" gasket maker
Both red and blue thread locker
ETC ETC ETC (see thread below!)
Before any of that, however, I recommend getting your hands on the Factory Service Manuals of relevance. There are CDs on eBay. There are also online copies floating around here and there. Torque specs and one or more torque wrenches ranging from 12 in-lbs to 95 ft-lbs (almost never found in ONE wrench) are an absolute must. It is an aluminum block and it's not at all difficult to strip threads by going 1 full turn too far.
In addition to that, you will absolutely want to read the following thread at NASIOC.

That's about all I can offer. My phone number is 727-417-6954.
