No problem, I had used the stock style axles from a Lincoln rear and they were also too wide. I hated it and could not wait to find what I needed.
Any ways, good luck. I think you have to use the driver's side from a Ranger or the passenger side from an Aerostar van, but I'm not 100%. I read it some where, but do not know of anyone that used the Aerostar axles.
