people have used BBQ paint and i know that works well an dit it is cheap. the Powercoating method is fine. but you have to spray at a angle. not straight on. so if you are having someone else do the powercoating i would recomend not to do it. and the last and best way to do it... anodize it. but that is teh $pendy.

the BBQ, radiator paint works very well. spary at a angle so the paint doesnt gunk up the fins....
