In all honesty you should think before you give advice. What does powdercoating do? What does a FMIC do? Why would you want to put thick coats of material on a part that is suposed to be cooled down by air to metal contact?

If you want it black and just do a coat or two so that way there is not alot of material on the intercooler and it does not affect efficiency. Also with it being black it will help out the heat disapation.
