Many of the sets of 270s had a ~5 degree advance ground in and many people had PTV contact with the bigger intake valves. If they are installed slightly retarded, this can be avoided.

The install is pretty straightforward. Are you using Comp springs? Also those 262s do make good power so you might consider using them.
