Default Cam Frustration

well i just purchased a set of Comp Cams XE262ah cams for my 4.6L 2V 2003 GT. the reason behind me purchasing this set of cams was a good price and also i have been told since comp came out with these cams that these were the only set that would not require pistons to be fly-cut.

so now after reading numerous posts on www.corral.net i hear of people saying there 99+ GT has either the Comp XE270's or the Comp XE274's and thy have NO PTV clearance problems because they had there cams degreed

WTF DOES THAT MEAN!!!!

im still pretty dumb when it comes to camshafts, i know how they work and all that great stuff, but as for lift/ duration @.050 and LSA, you might as well be speaking Arabic.....

basically what does "degreeing" the cams mean? and if this is possible does anyone want to buy a set of comp cam XE262's???

also how long im a looking at for down time on my car for install along with a rough estimate???
