93 Supra MKIV single vs two bikes.
Posting this for a friend.
I was riding shotgun in my friend Adam's red supra. Just got back from the shop. Its got a an upgraded fuel system, SP74 single, 4.5 in exhaust (full), 3.5 inch downpipe, 1000cc injectors and bored out to about 3.3 litres.
First, we found a Suzuki sv650. Keep in mind this supra needs to be tuned very badly. We just got it back from the shop (engine labs) and it had not been tuned very well (actually they gave the car back with two boost leaks). The car was at about 14lbs boost (not tuned, too risky). Go from a 45 mph roll twice. First time we were even to about 60, after that we saw nothing but headlights. Second roll, same deal, absolutely annhialated him this time. Brake boosted up to 45 and just wailed the shit out of the throttle. Shut down both time at about 130-140.
Second bike, and he posts here. He rides a real nice silver 03 Yamaha R6. We pulled up to the gas station they were at b/c we saw them when we were getting some water. Went up and called them to race. Guy on the R6 agrees and we head out, 45mph roll on 3 horns. On the third horn bike goes about 4 bike lengths ahead of us (car peeled out at 45, absolutely no grip I felt the damn thing slide sideways) we stayed the whole way, kept looking back and you could tell he was surprised, not many bikes expect any car to stay on them, not fading into the distance. We lost this one, but for an untuned supra with a shit tune and low boost, I think we fared very well. Expect some new kill threads from me with bikes and such in the future, supra is getting tuned monday to a whole new level.
BTW if any of you Supra guys know "Dallas", its his old Supra.
Guy on the R6 and sv650 were cool as hell. Mad props to the two of you if you see this and keep it real. Ride safe everyone and stay far from the 5-0.
-Keenan.
