One might say that with a well selected parts combination you can achieve just as good torque curves with a 2.0 as you can with a 2.4. If I had two dsms, one would be a high revving 2.0 for the track to get some good mph traps. The second would be a 2.3/2.4 for stop light digging 0-60's.
However it is interesting how a lot of the latest turbo cars sold today have larger displacement motors.
