I think he should get an LS1, theyre fast but no 'uncontrollably' fast. Just think, 10 years ago people were saying the same thing about LT1's and Mustangs..."Don't get one, your gonna kill yourself". I think the LS1 is easier to drive than the LT1 cuz its not as tourqey at low RPM's.
